Counselling and Psychotherapy in Wilmslow and Manchester
I offer individual and couples counselling at both my practices. I’m in Manchester on a Monday and Wilmslow Tuesday to Friday. I work daytime hours only at present.
If you are feeling stuck, anxious or depressed making the time in your week to come and talk about what’s going on for you can make all the difference in the world. Therapy is for people who have the self-awareness to recognise that they need a helping hand and that is something to be applauded. With counselling and psychotherapy positive changes in your relationships, work and life in general can take place, even when those challenges seem overwhelming, distressing and confusing. You can also have therapy with me while we walk together; a great alternative to sitting in my office. Get in touch now and take a positive step towards making changes in your life.
It can feel like a huge step when, as a couple, you make the choice to have some therapy sessions. Whatever the cause of your relationship problems the sooner you get help the better the chances of success. If you think that your relationship would benefit from seeing a therapist then make an appointment today. Couples counselling can strengthen your relationship and our goal would be to give you both insight and problem solving skills. Together we will look at what’s happening in your relationship, where your shared strengths and weaknesses are, as well as looking at your values around relationships. As a couple you will develop more effective ways of relating with each other so that communication skills and intimacy flourish.
Nutrition Advice and Issues Around Eating
Have you got a long-term health condition such as diabetes, heart disease, fibromyalgia or coeliac disease? Would you benefit from extra support with managing your condition? Are you training for a sporting event? Perhaps you would like some tips and advice on how you and your family can eat more healthily? Come and find out how making simple changes to your diet can help you to feel better both physically and mentally.
If you are struggling with issues around food and eating why not come and see me. Combining therapy and nutritional support is very effective and I have successfully worked with clients who have had disordered eating patterns and challenges with weight. Why not contact me to find out how we’d work together.
Nutritional counselling is my unique approach of combining therapeutic skills with nutritional knowledge. We can connect what you eat to how you feel; both physically and mentally and apply it to any health condition or health goal.
